PUMA Cards Terms and Conditions

(valid as of September 9th, 2025)

1. Scope

These terms and conditions ('Terms and Conditions') apply to our following electronic and physical PUMA Cards purchased/issued in the EU, in Switzerland and in Norway on or after October 6, 2022 in any of our participating stores or online:

  • PUMA Gift Cards
  • PUMA Merchandise Cards
  • PUMA Promotional Cards

(Jointly also "PUMA Cards")

By using the PUMA Cards, you accept to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and enter into an agreement with PUMA Europe GmbH, PUMA Way 1, 91074 ("PUMA", "We") Herzogenaurach, Germany. We reserve the right to amend or adapt the wording of these General Terms and Conditions. You will find the most recent Terms and Conditions on giftcard.puma.com.

2. Special terms only applicable to PUMA Gift Cards sold by PUMA

2.1 Purchase of PUMA Gift Cards

Only adults (18 years of age or above) or minors with the consent of their parent(s) are eligible to purchase PUMA Gift Cards from PUMA.

For the purchase of a PUMA Gift Card from PUMA, our General Terms and Conditions for the purchase of goods apply which can be found on puma.com for online purchases and as available in store for your instore purchases.

2.2 Return Guarantee for PUMA Gift Cards

Your legal right of cancellation (https://eu.puma.com/de/en/terms-and-conditions/TERMS_AND_CONDITIONS.html) applies to PUMA Gift Cards purchased from PUMA online. Please see our notice of cancellation and the model cancellation form (https://eu.puma.com/de/en/terms-and-conditions/TERMS_AND_CONDITIONS.html). Please note that this only applies to unused Gift Cards. If you wish to return a PUMA Gift Card purchased from PUMA, please contact PUMA Customer Service.

All other PUMA Cards (except for PUMA Cards purchased online) are not cancelable and we cannot accept returns thereof.

3. Payment with PUMA Cards, Validity and Maximum Value

PUMA Cards purchased or issued in a store in the EU, Switzerland, Norway or online can be redeemed in every participating PUMA store throughout the EU, Switzerland, Norway or online on puma.com.

You can use your PUMA Card to pay for your items until its balance is zero. If the balance of your PUMA Card does not cover the entire purchase, you may complete your payment by using other methods of payment, such as paying in cash or with credit card. Any remaining balance on your PUMA Card may be used on your next purchase, but cannot be exchanged for cash.

You may check the balance on your PUMA Card directly in your participating PUMA store, or online at giftcard.puma.com by entering your PUMA Card number and the PIN.

PUMA Gift Cards can be charged up to a maximum value of or equivalent to EUR 1.000,00 and PUMA Merchandise Cards are issued with a maximum value of EUR 250,00.

Please note that PUMA Cards are not rechargeable.

The validity dates printed on or attached to your PUMA Card apply. After the date of expiration, PUMA Cards cannot be used for purchase. Any remaining balance will not be refunded.

4. Returning goods purchased with a PUMA Card

Our return policies and 30 days voluntary return period apply to the return of goods purchased with a PUMA Card (using the PUMA card as payment in full or partially together with an alternative payment method).

We handle refunds as follows:

If you return items that were paid for using only PUMA Cards, you will be issued a new PUMA Card for the returned amount.

If the returned items were paid for by a combination of a PUMA Card and other payment methods (e.g. credit card, cash, etc.), then we will preliminary refund to the alternative payment method, up to the amount actually paid by the alternative method. For the remainder of the refund, a new PUMA Card will be issued.

Example: Your purchase value is 120,- EUR of which 80,- EUR were paid by credit card and 40,- EUR by PUMA Gift Card. You return items of that purchase with a value of 90,- EUR. We will refund 80 EUR to your credit card and issue a new PUMA Gift Card of 10 EUR value.

5. Delivery of electronic PUMA Cards

Electronic PUMA Cards will be sent to your indicated e-mail address. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that you provide the correct email address. If the e-mail address you provided cannot be verified, PUMA reserves the right to refrain from the delivery. Please contact our customer service if you encounter any problems with the delivery of your electronic PUMA Card.

6. Limited Liability

Any liability of PUMA or the participating stores in relation to, including but not limited to, misuse, theft, loss, etc. for the credit on the PUMA Cards is explicitly excluded and the credit on the PUMA Cards will not be refunded. This limitation of liability does not exclude claims in case of gross negligent or deliberate acts by PUMA, the participating PUMA stores and its employees.

Safe the above the risk of loss and misuse remains entirely with the owner of the PUMA Cards. Handle your PUMA Cards with special diligence and treat them like cash.

7. Privacy Policy

We do not collect any personal data in connection with your use of the PUMA Cards.

Regarding the purchase/issuing of PUMA Cards, our privacy policy applies to our handling of any personal data collected and processed in the course of this transaction.

9. Dispute Settlement

Puma Europe GmbH is not obliged and willing to participate in dispute settlement proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
